Well, you opened this blog, which means either you got scammed or you were thinking to join any so-called Pay After Placement program/course. So you are at the right place, you will get to know how the entire structure of this big scam which is happening in India at a granular level.
EdTech Companies: Before Joining
We have a Pay After Placement program if you join this program you don't have to pay a single rupee till you get placed with CTC above 5 LPA & this is the very first lie most of EdTech companies tell innocent students & I was one of them.
We have top-notch faculty who will train you according to market demand/requirements. But the fact is something else.
No placement = No Fees, but the fact is they don't care whether you get placed or not they simply focus on the deadline of the program (12 months) so that people will start paying their EMI to the company even if they don't have a Job.
We have designed our course in such a way, you can land a job within 3 months. But the fact is even though I have spent 7 months I am still jobless.
We have 300+ Startups and Top MNCs, this is the most frequent lie they used to tell regularly during orientations.
EdTech Companies: After Joining
Fewer companies are coming to our organization & they are looking for well-trained developers.
Once your bond period is over you have to pay our fee on an EMI basis.
We have changed the course structure to filter the students, which means you have to score 9 or 9.5+ marks out of 10 in your mocks.
My Opinion :
Initially, they will manipulate a lot to join the program but don't get stuck in it, it's just a scam keep it always in your mind. They will tell you that you don't have to pay anything until you get placed with CTC 5+.
They will tell you that you can get placed within 3 months, but the fact is something else, It's been 6-7 months and I am still Jobless. You might be thinking that I don't have that skill set if you are thinking like that; then visit my GitHub you will get to know more over there.
Don't be trapped in any so-called Pay After Placement program, EdTech companies are simply focusing on your money nothing more than that
They don't care whether you get placed or not once your bond period is over, you have to pay the entire fee on an EMI basis.
My final suggestion to all of you innocent people/students is please don't join any Pay After Placement program, the ISA agreement will break you internally and even impact your willpower, so please avoid such a course.
I got scammed very badly & that's why I am saying to all of you, and please share this blog in your circle so that other people can understand the so-called program/course.
They will introduce so many restrictions and make so many changes in the entire course structure; so that people/students can't clear 6 modules out of 8.
I won't mention the name of the EdTech company where I got scammed but I can give some hints, an EdTech company started by IIT Delhi Alumni, once you search it on google, you will find it ie Ac*Job.
So please beware of such scams and don't get stuck in them.
